Jason James is a senior at Western Washington University, studying to become a Visual Journalist. Jason focuses on the creation of multimedia within news production and has implemented his skills and knowledge while attending college. Jason has worked with Western’s magazines, The Planet and Klipsun, to create engaging photos and videos. 

While studying to become a visual journalist, Jason has become an avid user of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects. Jason spends all of his free time learning new skills in these softwares and wants to be considered an “expert” one day. Spending hours on these softwares has allowed Jason to become comfortable with learning new techniques and applications. 

During college, Jason has learned advanced skills in photography and videography but exceeds within post production. Jason believes multimedia can be produced by anyone, but creating personal style takes skill.
